VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A 30-year-old Adelanto man with a previous felony conviction was arrested for being in possession of a loaded firearm, authorities said.
Devion Earl Barris was pulled over during a traffic stop in the area of Starshine and Pluto Drives at 10:52 p.m., on October 17, 2017.
Deputy N. Craig approached the vehicle and observed a bag containing marijuana on the front passenger seat of the vehicle, officials said in a news release.
Barris was found to have a previous felony conviction and was prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for felon in possession of a firearm. According to public booing logs, Barris was released on bail at 12:45 p.m., on Wednesday and has no scheduled court appearance.
