47-Year-Old Hesperia Resident Murdered

HESPERIA:( A domestic dispute in Hesperia leads to the death of a 47-Year-old Hesperia man. On Monday, August 11, 2014, at 10:24 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a shooting that had occurred at a residence in the 9800 block of Nielson Road in the unincorporated area of Hesperia.

Upon arrival, deputies and fire personnel located the victim, later identified as Donald Archdale, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Archdale was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at 12:07 p.m.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Detail was requested and responded to the location. Through investigation, detectives have determined that the shooting of Donald Archdale was committed during a domestic violence incident. The investigation is ongoing; no suspects have been arrested at this time. Upon completion, the report will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review.
