VIDEO: 4-year-old Boys Leg Amputated After Attacked by Police Dog

HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- A Rialto police dog, belonging to a Hesperia resident attacked his four year old son on Sunday, February the 8th. The attack was made evident to neighbors, by screams coming from the yard of the small child.

The neighbors ran to aid the small child, while others called 9-1-1. San Bernardino County Fire Paramedics were dispatched to the scene in the 14400 lock of Nantucket Street. The boy was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where they are providing treatment for his badly injured leg.

The trained police K-9, Jango, a Belgium Malinoise is currently quarantined by Hesperia Animal Care and Control.
