Wrightwood, Calif. (press release) The 23rd annual Wrightwood Mountain Classic Car Show will be held Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the town of Wrightwood CA.
This free event features over 200 vehicles dating from the 1920’s to pre-1973 American-made rods, customs, classics, coupes, muscle cars, trucks, special interest and 18 other vehicle categories.
Show day activities also include a pancake breakfast at the Community Center from 7 – 11 a.m. for $5, live music performed by the Music Formula Band, a vendor village and beer garden, a five-card poker walk for $100 cash for ages 18 & up, low-rider trike races for kids and adults, an open header contest, a 50/50 cash drawing, hourly drawings for prizes such as gift cards and car related products, and trophy presentations at the close of the show.
A public welcome reception will be held Friday, August 18 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Wrightwood Inn, 1350 Highway 2 immediately followed by a classic car, truck and bike cruise through town and KJ music and dancing from 8:30 p.m. – 1 a.m. For overnight lodging visit www.stayinwrightwood.com.

The Wrightwood Mountain Classic Car Show is hosted by the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce. Pre-registration is $30 through August 6 and $35 on show day. On-site day of registration runs from 7 – 10 a.m. (if spaces are available) in the Community Center parking lot between Pine and Park. All registered participants will receive a dash plaque and event t-shirt.
Firefighters Quest for Burn Survivors; a non-profit all-volunteer organization dedicated to assisting people affected by burn injuries will receive a portion of the events’ proceeds.
