SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.(VVNG.com)- A 22-year-old San Bernardino man identified as Jordan Robledo, is behind bars on a lengthy list of charges.
On Monday, December 26, 2016, dispatch received reports of domestic violence at a residence on the 6000 block of Auburn Place in Rancho Cucamonga.
Deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department along with the Aviation Division responded.
Deputies learned Robledo physically assaulted the victim several times over the course of a day, threatened to kill her and vandalized her car. according to a Sheriff’s press release.
Aviation deputies observed a vehicle quickly leave the residence at a high rate of speed and believed it was possibly involved in the domestic violence call.
The Aviation unit monitored the vehicles moments while updating ground deputies. Deputies responding to the scene confirmed the suspect Jordan Robledo was driving the vehicle aviation was following.
Aviation was notified and continued direct observation on Robledo as he entered San Bernardino.
While traveling at a high rate of speed, Robledo lost control of his vehicle, struck a fence and fled the scene of the crash. Aviation guided the deputies responding to Robledo’slocation to a residence Robledo was attempting to enter.
Robledo was contacted at the door and taken into custody without incident. Robledo was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for felony domestic violence, criminal threats, felony vandalism and felony evading. Robledo’s bail was set at $100,000.
