PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) Two Phelan men are behind bars after they were found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Julian Rodriguez, 42, and Robert Snethen, 36, were arrested in the Stater Brothers parking lot located at 4059 Phelan Road in Phelan.
On Tuesday, April 18, 2017, deputies responded to the shopping center reference a 2016 Land Rover which had been parked in the parking lot for two days.
“The reporting party believed the subjects inside the vehicle had been siphoning gasoline from other vehicles in the parking lot,” stated a Sheriff’s press release.
The responding deputy confirmed the Land Rover had been stolen out of Sun City, California.
After making contact with the subjects, Rodriguez and Snethen said a friend loaned the vehicle but could not provide De puty Fifita any information on the friend.
Julian Rodriguez, who is a documented gang member, and Robert Snethen, who is a career criminal were both arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
