2 Killed In Phelan Road Head-On Collision

PHELAN, Calif: (VVNG.com) Two people were killed and several others were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Friday night.

The head-on collision was reported around 11:10 p.m near Phelan Road and Wilson Ranch Road involving two sedans and a van.

The drivers in both sedans were pronounced deceased on scene, while three patients were listed in critical condition, and one other sustained minor injuries, according to Battalion Chief Kelly Anderson.

Three airships were requested to transport the victims listed in critical condition.

The roadway will be closed in both directions pending investigation. The identity of the deceased victims will be released pending positive identification and notification of next-of-kin.
