The crash involving a black Ford F-150 and a Lexus SUV was reported just before 8:30 am, along the 44000 block of Old Woman Springs Road, west of Lafon Road.

A passenger inside the Lexus SUV was also pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was airlifted to an out of area trauma center.
The crash prompted a temporary closure of both lanes on Old Woman Springs Road. CHP officers are alternating traffic lanes as they continue their investigation.
