2 killed, 1 injured in T-bone crash in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) Two people were killed and another person was airlifted when a suburban collided with a car Sunday afternoon in Apple Valley.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Deep Creek Road and Bear Valley Road.

According to a Sheriff’s official, a gray Suburban was traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road and a silver Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Deep Creek Road when the two collided in the intersection.

The driver and passenger of the Honda Civic were both pronounced deceased on scene, officials said.

Apple Valley fire officials extricated one person that was trapped in the Suburban. That person was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in critical condition, officials said.

Bear Valley will be closed between Apple Valley Road and Iroquois Road for at least 6-8 hours as the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station continues to investigate.
