Over 1,000 SCE customers briefly left in the dark Monday night

UPDATE @ 9:45 PM – Majority of customers reported have reported that service has been restored.

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Over 1,000 Southern California Edison Customers were without power Monday night.

A crash involving a utility van crashing with a transformer in the area of the I-15 and Stoddard Wells Road at 9:10 pm., CHP incident logs reported. However, at this time it’s unknown if the power outage was caused by the damages.

According to Southern California Edison, the outage was reported at 9:08 p.m., and 1,045 customers were temporarily impacted by the outage.

The outage was wide-spread and affected customers on Stoddard Wells Road, Dante Street, and as far as Village Drive.

No injuries have been reported. This incident will be updated as information becomes available. Check back for updates.
