1 Person Airlifted, 3 Others Injured in Highway 395 Head-On Crash

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A four-vehicle traffic collision that injured 4 people temporarily closed Highway 395 Monday afternoon.

The multi-vehicle traffic collision was reported at 6:28 p.m. between Mojave Drive and Seneca Road on Highway 395. The accident involved a red minivan, and two Toyota sedans with major damage. A fourth vehicle was side swiped and pulled into the Stater Brothers parking lot.

“We arrived on scene within eight minutes and located three vehicles with major damage. There were no parties trapped fortunately. However, we had three delayed patients (minor injuries) and one immediate patient (with) a serious non-life threatening injury,” stated Captain Jeff Allen with the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

An air ambulance was requested to fly the patient to an Antelope Valley trauma center.

Highway 395 was closed while the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department conducted the investigation.
